§ The pastors will be leading worship as single parents on Oct 3 and Oct 17. They need someone to supervise their children before, during and after church on these Sundays.
§ The church has a new outdoor banner, which needs to be hung outside on the wall in place of the current banner.
§ One of our nursery staff has brought to our attention that the nursery room needs some attention - some toys have gotten in there that are dangerously small, toys need to be organized, and we need some additional items such as places to lay down babies, etc..
§ A few folks have said they are interested in visitation. Pam Libby is helping to organize the effort, along with Pastor Gwyneth and Jody Fyles. Others are welcome to join the team in different capacities depending on gifts and call (shut-in visitation and/or phone contact, hospital or nursing home visitation, communion to shut-ins, and contacting visitors after worship (phone or short visit). We plan to meet monthly after worship for group support.
§ Our cleaning service does a great job cleaning, but do you think the bathrooms could use some “dressing up?” According to church growth statistics, women’s bathrooms are important to visitors in whether they return or not!
§ Look around at the church with new eyes. What do you see that the church needs? Would you be willing to take on that project or be part of a group effort?
