We are in the midst of the 2010 Stewardship Preaching Series on the topic of Generous Giving through God’s Grace. We hope you will prepare your hearts in prayer.

10/31 The Widow The Challenge to Generosity Mark 12:41-44
During the first week, Kathy Brann played the part of Zacchaeus, climbing a tree right in the sanctuary as the Scripture story was read! On the second week, folks are invited to bring in items to donate, such as a winter coat they no longer use, boots that don't fit, or a kitchen appliance collecting dust. After worship anyone in need of these items will be invited to take them, and anything left over will go to the Preble Street homeless center.
The third week is commitment Sunday, and all are invited to bring their pledge cards forward indicating their promised giving for 2011. We hope you will join us.
