A little late
but reportable
On May 30, America celebrates Memorial Day and in South
Portland a parade is the means of celebrating those who have served in any of the Armed Services.
By participating in the parade, Peoples UMC shares its honors with many other
folks. As the parade passes by the church a number of members of the church and
many others congregate to watch and share the meaning of the day and cheer the
participants on. Here are a few pictures that were taken as the parade as participants passed
by Peoples.
