MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY
FOOD LOCKER PROJECT
It has come to our attention that during the
school’s February break, many of our school children that receive food
assistance will be hungry.
To help alleviate this situation, we will be
collecting food items on FEB 5 & FEB 12 to be delivered to school prior to
the break and distributed discretely to those children that will benefit.
Items they are
looking for include:
Canned products (veggies, fruits, beans, etc)
Canned pasta products
Mac & Cheese/ dry spaghetti & canned sauce
All inclusive pizza mixes
Granola snack bars (NO NUTS)
Breakfast bars (NO NUTS)
Dry cereal (without a lot of sugar)
Rice Cakes
Muffin mixes
Please DO NOT bring:
Candy
Nut products
Frozen items
No perishable items
No items in glass containers
Also: Please be aware of expiration dates.
